A True Brown Bag Love Story

My fiancee Eric and I met at my place of employment which is Frazer's Traveling Brown Bag on January 23, 1998. Eric continued to request me whenever he came in. I was always happy to see Eric, he was my favorite customer (I had a secret crush-sh).

It wasn't until October 1999 that Eric asked me out and of course I said yes. We have been dating ever since. Then, on September 16, 1999, Eric came in for dinner at Frazer's (what a nice surprise-little did I know). His original plan was to give me the ring when he paid for the bill-which I had already taken care of. The next time that I visited his table he said, "Sherri I cannot get the sugar back into the brown bag". (Frazer's uses small brown paper bags on the table to hold condiments).

To my surprise was a little ring box inside the brown bag and Eric proposed. Throughout the many years of waitressing, that is the best tip that I have ever had! :) A true brown bag love story. Sherri & Eric
